Healthy Eating, Exercise, and Mindset

How do you start your day by eating? An extensive breakfast for a QUEEN? or Nothing until lunch due to rushing out early for work? What works or doesn’t work to maintain healthy eating habits, exercise, and a positive mindset? There are many possible answers to this question.

Let me share a few simple things that practical life experience has taught me about healthy eating, exercise, and mindset exercises to keep a healthy and happy life.

  1. Food: Our bodies only need a limited amount of food. So, I manage my consumption as a vessel divided into three parts (per meal breakfast, lunch, and dinner) in the following way:
    • 1/3 air to be able to breathe comfortably.
    • 1/3 water to keep the body hydrated adequately
    • 1/3 of food to maintain daily energy.

This activity works (for me) because, within time, the stomach reduces in size and gets used to the prescribed 1/3 amount. Note: No eating after 7:30 pm; this gives your stomach a proper resting and fasting time for the next day’s breakfast.

2. Exercise: I manage and include exercise daily. I usually do simple yet powerful exercises to help to maintain flexibility, endurance, and a healthy heart. This also includes other exercises to help with body contouring to developing a great figure. More about this later.

3. Mindset: Our thoughts (learned behavior) can be a ray of sunshine (Positive impact) or uncontrollable darkness (Negative implications) that can cause confusion, depression, stress, or a lack of confidence. I learned the value of positivity and how to make it an intentional focus in my life and to share positive results wholeheartedly with whoever enters my living space. More to come.
